Note for some reason the photo is the wrong way around. Pedal arm should be pointing up.

As a Mac user there is MemsFCR (https://memsfcr.co.uk) which works for Mac and Windows
Awesome! Of course it requires the latest version of OS and I am not allowed to update till my company vets it fully. I guess I will have to wait a bit long. sigh

A diagnostic application for MacOS is available here: https://memsfcr.co.uk
One other thing: so I am a lifetime Apple user which doesn't help that all these diagnostic programs are Windows based. Compete user error but I was only able to get things to run and log using an old Samsung phone my father was getting rid of. All that said, that is what I used to see the above readings. Came back in and saw that rovermems.com now works with Mac so I gave that a go. Hooked and checked the TPS and readings only go as high as .995v, with a low of .12 BUT seems to sit at .25v unless I snap the throttle closed.
Why on earth would I get such a low TPS volt reading using a laptop vs using a phone. Same cable. Maybe there is something up and your TPS (although still sticking) is giving the correct voltage reading, especially given the 5v supply you tested.

Has anyone tried to repair a TPS? I recall reading a thread about cleaning deposits off the inside of the sensor, but not sure whether this was on TMF.
Not repairing but building an adapter.
You may buy an adapter like this on the japanese market but damned expensive.

This was done by an other user, he printed it in 3d, but alumium is a good solution. The poti is from a later rover, but I think a lot of common TPS will fit too.The problem is the connection between throttle bar and poti. Here is a picture of the japanese parts.

Adaptors are relatively easy to make with common sense and some hand tools but the TPS can be had in clockwise and anticlockwise rotation so beware when sourcing one,Steve..

Unfortunately not,My experience was with an elderly Rover V8 with a standalone ECU which can be calibrated to almost any TPS.I would try with a 90s rover product such as 200s,400,mgz etc.Steve..
