The reason the mirror was returned was because the mounting flange was not flat.

I emailed them twice about it but had no reply. I had to phone them to get a response.

I returned my dome mirrors back to Minispares as I wasn't happy with the view out of them

I suspect I shall be going for a mirror that fits direct onto the window replacing a latch bolt.

I’m going to give one of these a try, I have ordered one just in case it is not right. If it is OK I’ll order a second one.

As stated in the instructions, another piece which is sold apart is needed to be installed in Minis and Midgets. It is a chrome base, similar to the plastic black included. Maybe this could help? I also noticed that the shorter screws included allows to install without touching the glass.
