Lovely looking mini on the outside

But ruined by the interior in my opinion, it’s lost it’s soul internally (shame)

It just looks odd these days when everyone wants originality or retro styling

I'd have preferred spi instead of mpi, to avoid fuse box and airbag, but otherwise a nice daily?

It looks good, although some will not like the more modern elements to a period classic. I would however question whether legally it can be declared MOT exempt. In my view the MPi engine, electrics, uprated suspension mean it has had substantial modifications. Having to have it MOTed though is not a major concern.

Depends what you want, if you want the classic 'Woody' looks but to drive like a modern MPi Mini with greater refinement and comfort then this could be ideal, but not if you want the full early Mini experience along with the drawbacks of an older Mini. Price also seems reasonable for whats on offer.

Sorry, missed this. I assume wipers can be adjusted, or is it a problem?

And I guess foam is a worry for trapped water?

Very nice looking car, if you like it buy it and get it out and about driving with modern traffic that's what it was modified for.

Wipers can be adjusted, or at worst the mechanism replaced if it is badly worn.

Foam (especially that sort) is a water trap - there are better 'closed cell' ones available or, for what little noise reduction it gives you could just remove.  However I'd ask for a picture of what's underneath, just in case there is already any water damage/rust problems hiding.

Nice car and perfect for travelling to IMM's. Personally I would have gone with a wooden dash with chrome air vents  and a wooden steering wheel. Can't figure out where they put the speakers.
