Don't see why not, it looks fairly modular. Just build or modify a head around the valve assemblies. Can't imagine it's a new idea, the really interesting stuff may be what they didn't show; how they powered the hydropneumatics.

Wes Kagan has been working on retro fitting this tech onto engines.

..funnily enough, that's were i stumbled across the freevalve stuff.
