I've just joined, I acquired a 1983 mini mayfair. Its in bits, and i'm slowly pulling it apart even more so I can fix the rust, but I hope to get it working soon. I hope i'm not being too optimistic wanting it done for the L2B in 2008

You "aquired" sounds interesting!! Sounds like a good project, one that you're gonna take time to do properly
Why not start a project thread when you're ready show us how it's all going

OK, here goes. This is the ebay picture of it. All I've done since is taken it home and remove the headlamps and wipers, so not much so far.
The front wheel on the side away from the camera is missing (I have the wheel, but the running gear is all broken after the previous owner kerbed it hard enough to bend the front subframe) and the a-pillars and doorstep on the drivers side have rotted out quite badly, but apart from that the body is pretty sound.
