Hi folks, whilst it's too cold to work in my garage I've decided to clean up the headlamp assemblies. I've dismantled them except for removing the wiring from the bowls. The bowls are good enough to reuse so will give them a lick of paint. The question is, however, how do I get the grommets out intact without damaging them or the wires? Inside the bowls the grommet heads seem to be too big to push through and similarly on the outside I can't compress the rubber enough to push it through the other way. I guess someone must have passed this way before and would appreciate any advice. Thanks.
