Hi all,

I've just test fitted my new 4piston alloy calipers and was disappointed to see how much the pads overhang the discs.

Has anyone else seen this on the 7.5" four piston calipers? I have 2-3mm overhang and have tried two different pad sets.

Mini Spares do say on the Web Page that the Pads do overhang.

 

2 - 3 mm isn't much.

 

While it may not appear ideal, the Brakes do well damn well.

I didn't see any mention of any pad overhang and I am a bit disappointed that something (presumably) custom made for the 7.5" discs sit the pad like that. In my experience it can be a recipe for noisy brakes.

Same on my mpi,pads are metro ones,and yes,a choice decal fitted

Ah, sorry, they mention it for the same caliper used on the 8.4" Discs.
