I need to make up a vac pipe for my new brake servo and have hit a snag. The take off that minispares sell won’t fit as it clashes with my air box, so I need to use the bango bolt that the later cars used, see link.

My question is what size banjo do I need to suit this bolt?

They used to be 5/8unf. Can't see any reason that would've chanced, but the temperature sender thread in the cylinder head is the same as a way of confirming.

Thanks Ethel,

So 5/8inch is just under 16mm, so a 16mm banjo should do the trick?

Just need to confirm what diameter the vac hose is now, I think the stuff I have is 3/8”.
