has anyone tried adapting something like this to the Mini?Lots of vans have load sensing valves like you describe. An inertia valve is even better, it senses exactly what you need to reduce rear brake effort for.
Ive also wondered why we never see ABS being adapted for older cars. Should be pretty straightforward as all components are available from other vehicles.
Inertia valve? They were standard eqpt on vans & pickups & possibly one or two other Mini models before they got dual circuit brakes. Also found on other cars (Mk3 Escorts for one) before brakes got all electronic & complicated.
I'm pretty sure ABS is one of the no go areas for all but car industry big guns that get type approval on new built cars, same as airbags.
