To be fair - the fan will pull the air in that direction whichever way round it is, its just far more effective if tis the correct way.
(for the air to go the other way, the engine would have to run backwards).
Is more likely that the water has been blown that way by the air coming in at the front when the car is moving at speed.

If you look at the ‘splatter pattern’ it looks like it’s being pulled from left to right. To me that indicates the radiator fan is sucking whatever leak is there. But I would’ve thought there would have to be a lot of water for not to do this?
Either way, at least you know for sure your fan is on the right way round! Haha
I have been checking the water/oil and the engine in general regularly if anything too much as it's my first A series build and it wasn't using any noticable amount of water which makes me think it's a one off.
Let's hope I have more success this time round 👍
