Hi folks! I hope this is appropriate for this forum. I'm returning to the Mini fold for the first time since I was a kid, this time with a '96 Mini 35th Anniversary Cooper I've bought to do up with my daughter.
it's a lovely car but I have absolutely no history on it whatsoever. It's a Jap import so it's rust-free. Someone has converted it to twin carbs from the original injection set up. Other than that, it's original.
Does anyone out there know anything about these Jap cars? They were built in Longbridge and shipped out, but I can't find out much more than that. I would love to find out more about the history if anyone can help.
