Headlight Main Beam not working one side. Checked with spare bulb and Dipped beam works fine. Multi meter shows 9,5V on Dipped and 0.04 on Main beam. Cable seems to be the blue with white stripe. Am I reading this correctly and is there anyone with a hint on where to look next. No Light No MOT No FUN!

On older cars the lamp wiring went to the middle of the grille and then to each lamp, the connectors corroding away quite merrily. You should have full battery voltage on both beams.I would start there.Newer cars are possibly different.Steve..

Most likely is related to that connector as said above. Remove and clean all the connection s with emery cloth, they are just bullet connectors. If that doesn't cure it try running a separate wire from there to the relevant head light. If all good then you have a break somewhere along that cable.

The bullet connectors were loose but even after tightening NO JOY. So out with the radio to get behind dashboard and dodgy inline fuse detected. Thank you to IVAN NUTTING. Now to find one of those small silver clips that shot off and is missing to reinstall headlight.

I'd be surprised if there was an inline fuse for 1 headlight? Previous post said you had small voltage on that cable so clearly not a blown fuse.

On the 1990 onwards cars there's 4 inline fuses behind the speedo binnacle
