Hi all. I'm in the process of building a mini van . Do the mini vans have the same brake servo as the cars?Thought I'd ask on here before buying a second hand one. Also do I need a brake limiter valve with a servo? Anybody got a diagram on how the brake pipes should go. Thanks in advance.

Not sure on this, but might make another post bump for you...
To my knowledge the mechanical parts are the same as the 'normal' minis, or more specifically the vans. You could probably fit an Mpi engine if you wanted unless you're going original?

Non power brakes have a proportioning valve eg my 87 with non power and he valve on the bulkhead.

You dont mention the year but the following link may help.

Ben is right. I had a 1980 van (LHD) and after a failing master brake cylinder I bolted in a later style horizontal brake servo with cylinder as you'd find in the later carbed and SPI's. I had to fit a new pedalbox, the linkage (driving LHD need extra linkage to engage the RH side placed servo). I all fitted withou any alterations: all holes where present and aligned..

So you can easilly fit a 90's or later servo setup into a 80's or any van..

The van is a 1980 and was thinking of fitting a 1275 carbed engine. Sorry for my lack of knowledge on the minis . Thanks guys

Vans are great to restore i have a 1961... so much more spac3 to store(and loose) bits in the back of the van than a saloon....

Double rear doors are freaking awesome...
