Got smoke coming from the engine a bit on idle and quite a bit under load.
Theres reduced power running 3 cylinders 4 th kicking in under load replaced haed gasket, leads, plugs, oil filter and oil running better but still smoky my dad and gitlfriends dad think it's the piston rings?

Do you agree?

If so where and whichones do I buy?

Thanks

could try the valve stem seals before stripping the engine down just to do he piston rings.

could be worn bores aswell as rings so it could need a rebore

Do a compression test buddy, if it is pants put a dash of oil down the bad cylinder and try again. If it's a touch better then the rings are no good. Other than that it could be valve stem seals or guides.

If you've got the cash then use it as an excuse to put a bigger engine in!

A Bump already....?

Did you try the compression test already as Dave suggested? I assume you must have done, what were the results? If not, then fitting the valve stem seals could be a waste of your time!
