Hey everyone just got myself a mini Leyland 1972 and am planning to do restore back to its former glory. Its currently a shell with majority of the parts just in a box.
So ill keep you up to date on how it goes and try not to ask to many noobie annoying questions.
Well anyway my names adam and see you all round the forum lol

Yeah bathurst isnt too far at all.
Here are some pics of the car i got. I picked it up on saturday and damn it was a dodgey job! there wasnt a hand break or any front wheels so we had to pull it up like a wheel barrow and then tie it down with seat belts because we didnt have any ropes. But after a little trouble we got back to my hosue all good!
As you can see it needs alot of work done to it which i will hoepfully eventually get done...
There are heaps of parts which im going to have to ask about from the boys haha
and over all im just syked to have this mini to work on it came like that with all bits and pieces excluding exhaust, springs and shocks, front dash and door trims so if anyone knows where to pick that stuff up and also ships to sydne let me know!
Thanks for the welcome guys ull b hering a lot more from me!
By the way these pics are from the guy i bought it off if your wondering why it says 2003

Welcome. That is a cracking project and it's got great retro 70s styling so it's good you're planning a restoration rather than a modded version.
Loved Sydney so much we went there twice on our Oz trip

haha good to hear u like sydney Teapot, it treats me well 2, yeah it is pretty retro ay its a 1972 model. I was wondering does that mean its still a cooper or what model does that make it?
Yeah all the hard body work has been done for me all rust has been cut out and fixed its just sitting in primer.

Of course there's no rust! There's no salt in the air!
