Hi all
Im sure its been asked many times before but i cant seem to find anything on here, the outer cv joints (the mondeo item) are they from the diesel or petrol model as i belive there diffrent?

I think you may be on the wrong Mini Forum. Our minis ran only on petrol.

You might have missed the fact this is the Z cars section.

Sorted, they are the same its the one for the automatic which are slightly different.

I am also looking for the outer CV joints for a mini hayabusa from zcars +/- 2010. 
 
Can you tell me which type of mondeo CV joints are the correct ones? 
Perhaps you have a part number for me?

i have the mk 1 mondeo fronts on mine think ive still got the box somewhere with the part number on i will have a look tomorrow, i seem to remember the petrol and diesel items are the same with the estate car version having bigger or more splines,but dont quote me on that as i might be wrong.iam also running the honda engine if this makes any difference

I will look for the mondeo MK1 than :) and see if the technical information of that CV joints helps me further :)

The diesel ones have a thicker driveshaft. typically, these were diesel mondeo on the hayabusa kits. the inner ones for the open diff were machined by zcars to fit into the bearing carriers.
