Thanks Spider I think that may be the way to go.. you say in the correct orientation, any diagrams to show the correct fitment (cant find any onlune) and seems here these items are not plentiful, esp the mounting braket

This is the Inertia Valve;-

It has an Arrow case in to the body and the word Front on that arrow - I think that's self explanatory.

It was only our late Mokes that had them fitted here, and they were fitted to the RH Rail of the Rear Subframe;-

As best I know, all cars that had them, this was how / where they were fitted. There's 2 holes drilled in to the Subframe and it's just bolted up there. There's no separate bracket.

I had one fitted up in one of my Mini in the engine bay, on a home brew adjustable bracket;-

Thanks Spider just the information I needed. I like the setup / bracket beside the Master Cylinder, looks very neat. I habe the valve "purchased" from Ebay, hopefully get it next week.

Thank you all for the help very much appreciated, I will keep you all updated on progress

I had the inability to lock the front brakes on my pickup years ago.  After replacing everything else I bought and fitted a new FAM7821 from Unipart and it sorted the problem completely - fronts would now lock just before rears.
