Due to our expanding family and my extreme lack of spare time between work and parenting, some of the cars unfortunately have to go. Much as I know I'll regret it, the clubby estate is first up as I have no indoor space for it.

It was my wife’s daily from 2010 until 2019 (when our daughter arrived and we needed something more child friendly).
Since then it has been moved from garage to driveway and hasn’t turned a wheel for ages. It has now got pretty rusty in all the usual places and needs a full restoration.

On the plus side, it has never had floorpans (you can still just see the tag on the passenger side) so you don’t have loads of old repairs to undo. I'll let the pictures do the talking for me.
It is an early rod change shell with twin bolt front subframe- the tunnel has been drilled to fit a remote change. The rear subframe was replaced in 2016 and still looks to be in good nick.
I have never used the engine that is sat in the engine bay – this came with the car when I bought in in 2008/9 – but we ran a 1275 ‘s’ engine and box as I had a rebuilt one at the time.
Assume the engine will need rebuilding just to be on the safe side.
It has 7.5” ‘S' brakes and an ‘S' master cylinder fitted.
The rear doors are pretty shot but there is a solid pair included that I have had kicking around for years (somebody has repaired these in the past but they have made a decent job of it).
I am pretty sure that I have a good clubman bonnet and a full set of fake wood side trims somewhere that I could include if it’s a dealbreaker.
We are in Cornwall near St Austell so a long way from most of the country!
I'd like £1700 for it.
PM me if there’s anything else you need to know, cheers, Damian.

Forgot to mention, it has a set of four Avon Safety alloys. One tyre was very soft so I swapped it for the (standard) spare.

Looks a very good base to start from. If I had the space I'd make you an offer, but have a '79 to finish (start).

If you're interested in selling the spare wood you may have I would be interested. I'm down in The Lizard.

Best of luck with the sale
