Sad to hear that Gordon Spice has died after a long battle with cancer at the age of 81.

I found out about Gordon's passing a couple of days ago and am quite saddened to hear of it.

 

Gordon was a part time Works Driver in the later years and then went on to open one of the largest Spare Parts Chain Stores across the UK, I think his was the first in the UK to go to a computer based system, if memory serves, even before Unipart and BL did.

 

He always seemed the quite achiever. I know he'll be missed.

I met Gordon a couple of times or so, he was interested in the fact that I have a small car parts etc shop.  He was a really nice guy.  He could also tell some stories, most not printable here. O_O
