No problem gaspen! Really appreciate the help!
It should get me close enough even with the windscreen in. Just need it from the panel where the sun visors are bolted to the roof to the dash rail top
Here we go :
Measured outside at the outer edge of the rubber : 425mm
(The bodywork catalog suggest 435 mm here but the windscreen still fits )

Sorry for late answer. My car does not have upper dash pad, but I shot some picture for you.

I removed the welds from the upper dash rail and pushed it down so it met the measurement as per your photos. Everything looks a lot better than it was
Oh! It wasn't a 10-minute task I am glad you solve it.
