Hi Guys i,m Chris from Plymouth UK, new here and my first time with forums so you might need to educate me a bit.

Ive just purchased a MK1 (very excited) with a nasty scuff down the side. So i need to source some panels. My first hunt was minispares obviously but i see they are out of stock of quarters... any other ideas or stuff kicking about.

Is the MK3 the same shape/curve?

I appreciate any help people have.

Hi and welcome,

try M Machine but ring them, do not email them. They very rarely if ever answer them. Doreen who normally picks the phone up is very knowledgeable.

The Mk3 door aperture shape is a different size and shape so the front edge of the Mk3 rear quarter panel is a different shape where it meets the door B post to the Mk1 and Mk2.

You can use mk3 quarters, they just need to be trimmed and joined behind the b post, depends where the damage is.

As above try M-machine. Section 140 of their catalogue shows Mk1-2 panels available.
