I apologise if this has been asked before and im sure it will fit but thought id best make sure first.
Will a front suspension rubber cone fit the rear subframe of a mini? ive noticed that rear cones cost less than the front ones. Is this just because the rears dont need to be threaded in the middle or are they completely different in fitment?
Thanks
Daniel

Usually the only reason the rears are cheaper is because they don't have the thread in the middle. Minisport had a batch of genuine cones that had the big nut welded in on an angle, so they were selling them off chepaer as suitable for rear only.
You can use normal front ones on the rear though...

the "spring rate" is the same!! both work on front and back! the only difference is the leverage!! ratio is 1:3 on the front and 1:5 on the rear!!

Thanks for the replies.
Im now away to build up my rear subframe with peace in mind and no worry of fitting the wrong part.
Cheers
