HI , i know a few companies make mini shaped trailers allready .. but they do seem quite pricey.

Is there a market for me to try and make a more affordable option ?

just trying to gauge market etc..

any help/ views would be great.

i certainly think so, I know a lot of people liek the trailers, but it is quite time consuming building one and sourcing the parts , which becomes expensive if you build them from heritage panels etc.

I say yes, go for it.

Are we talking full steel or CF or FG???

would be fibre glass , with the lid that comes off the top. using proper trailer suspension (not mini subframe as that is very heavy)

yes mini shaped , cant really post pics of competitors etc .. but you know the type .. mini rear end , with a curved front to it , and the top lip part is removable.

would be good to hear from people that have them to know if there is anything they would change etc..

i would be interested. How would you plan getting them to the customer? collection only? its not the sort of thing you can easily post.

maybe you could reduce cost by supplying the trailer in kit form as a grp shell with a frame which the customer can assemble/fit?

seems as most mini owners like to get their hands dirty.

Postage will not be a problem for a kit , postage can be sorted.
