Stripped down my 998 engine at the end of last year and found ALL the bolts including mains and conrods well coated in thread lock; don't know why as pistons were standard and it hadn't had a rebore and was using oil.
Just got the rebored block and new pistons/conrods back from my machine shop and he's bead blasted the locktight off; inspected everything and pronounced everything OK.
Looking at https://www.theminif...ormatted/page-2 gives 37lbft for the conrods and 63lbft for the mains for A+.
So the question is; is this a dry OR oiled figure??? (or more locktight !)
