"All types of Mini (including the modern BMW models) are invited to this annual event, so expect displays in all areas of the Museum site. From the oldest to the newest, this year’s event will see some of the earliest examples nestling among hundreds of Minis and their variations including vans and pickups. As always Test Hill will be in action in the morning and afternoon. There will be a variety of trade stands offering Mini parts, spares and memorabilia."

I am attending in the GT with my wife, much to the dissaproval of my daughters as its Mothers Day, I have agreed to get her home in the afternoon so that they can see her (the wife that is not the Mini)

I attended the Brooklands mini day today, there was a good turnout and even a lookalike to my Mini, there were some amazing cars here's a few photos.

That white Radford Spring sounded real rough going up the hill. Im surprised it made it to the top!

 

Was a good show though. I enjoyed it. Its always nice to have a show at a museum or something as it gives you the ability to have a break from just looking at Minis! Not that that is a bad thing!

It did sound rough, I did the top gear track a few years ago with my JCW Bini (231 BHP) and was behind the Radford Mini, on the straights he was as fast as my car on the corners under braking he was not as fast as a lot of the bends were quite bumpy, there were 3 groups of minis on the day a slow, medium and fast, he was the only classic in the fast group.
