all vtec is, is a high lift cam, cant see how disabling it to a lower lift cam would make it perform better? The 1st lobe runs out of steam at 5k so when revving to 9k it surely isnt going to perform better :S


alot of people chose to turbo the 16v non vtec engine rather than 16v vtec , try a serch on the crx-forum and ull see , theres a fellow in glasgow who turbo'd the esi engine and it was mega quick think it was in chav power ,goldly eg

the body line doesn't look too bad there, so if you were to put sportspack arches on or similar, the 90mm extension would barely be noticed? mind you if you compared it next to a standard mini it would look a little out of proportion

yes sat next to a std mini you can tell .. but this is being built as a weekend car/track day .. so does not matter one bit :thumbsup:

How much to do me a throttle body conversion? :D

what management are you planning on using as i hear they are an arse to set up with the vtec
ITS NO WAY NEAR 15000 QUID IVE JUST HAD A HOLE COVERSION WITH THOTTLE BODIES PLUS LOADS OF OTHER WORK PARTS AND LABOUR FOR A LOT LESS THAN THAT.

I think 16V Mini means it would cost 15k for the drive in drive out conversion that he offers. Try thinking before putting people down next time.
