hi all

hope this doesn't sound like a silly question but do we still use the original Honda half shaft in the vtech build? i`m asking because i will need to buy one, for my build. cant see how we could do without it really otherwise we would have a ridiculously long drive shaft on one side of the gearbox??

thanks in advance john

Most engine conversion kits come with new shorter half shafts with splines for the Mini CV on the outside and the Honda CV on the inside.

Attached File  Screenshot_20220424-133554_eBay.jpg   18.63K   3 downloadsthanks for your reply, but i think you are thinking of a front enginged conversion? this is for the rear wheel drive z cars set up. what i mean is the intermediate shaft that runs along the rear of the engine through a bearing carrier that bolts to the engine. as in the photo
