ACDodd,what curve (0123456789 A B C D E F) do you think is the right one for an Austin Mini 1275 (now 1293cc) from 1972,twin carb and big cylinder head valves. Final drive very very short.
123Ignition (with vacuum tube).

I also have an 123 ignition system fitted with a 3 ohm Bosch blue coil. I experimented a lot with different curves and came to curve nr 2. Car pulls very well. I have a 1293 engine, big valve head (ported), kent 266 cam, rc40 exhaust,k&n air filter, maniflow stage 2 exhaust manifold.

I've been wearing the 123 Ignition since May 2018. It comes with a German Beru ZS106 3 Omios coil. I am very happy with the coil. The car now starts fine. For years, it was a nightmare. I have tried many curves with the dizzy. I'll tell you which one is on now, because I don't remember. I have spark plug blue silicone 8mm cables; Lumenition
stainless steel wire spiral.
And you, wiich spark plug wires are you using?

I'm also happy with the 123 system. I use 'normal'standard ht leads. Working fine for me.
