'That’s how I made enemy’s with the hillman imp group'

Well there's an sentence that I'd never thought I'd ever
read!

mini-mad-mark, how did you fit that console in place?

It's just two self tapping screws  - there is a hole for a third at the front (in the little tray/pocket) but it doesn't touch the floor there so it would need some kind of spacer (guess the Fiat floor is different shape to the mini floor)  but to be honest it was pretty rigid after getting it over the gear lever gaiter so the two screws seem to hold it OK

An absolute must mod is more-modern seats.  I have Punto seats in mine, they're getting tatty after 70k miles in the Punto then 35k in the mini but they're still comfy as.

+1 on the seats.

I have Fiat Seicento Sporting ones in mine. They weigh little more than the originals, far more supportive and comfortable, rear access is much better, too.

Are they easy to fit ?

To maintain the tilt action takes a bit of fettling, but they could be adapted to standard Mini action fairly easily.

I bought a couple of complete interiors for £40 and £30 respectively.

Used the extra material to make my Mini's rear seats match.
