The MIni Tartan is a JDM Special/Limited Edition that, for me anyway, is just basically the Mini Sidewalk with a different color scheme. In France, the Mini Balmoral featured the same interior trim. All the JDM-spec apply, like aircon and fixed rear quarter windows (although this may be the same as the Sidewalk).

I think the Tartan looks good. It would be a talking point given that they are rare over here. (However, I have a soft spot for the 90s LE models, especially those in 'original' spec, which I know not everyone shares!)
