Start a log from cold to worm until indicator is at the middle one or two short steps on the gas pedal and show us the log.

When the air filter is on its place you may reset faults first  for deleting the intake air sensor fault.

Will do! Which indicator should be in the middle to be precise?

There we go; see attached.

- Turnt ignition on

- Connected software

- Cleared errors

- Started engine

- Up to 92 degrees while idling

- Pressed the pedal

- Back to idle

- That times two

- Stopped logging

- Ignition off

I did notice it took the car a few minutes to get to idle around 850rpm coming from ~1100; after which it seems fairly stable but it does seem to struggle holding a consistent 850rpm. Had a sneaky longer drive with it yesterday and must still say I don't notice any issues while driving; but I'm all in favour of getting things perfect of course.

Map and IAC are still too high,

Have you tetsed the tube connections on the throttle body as said?

Have you set the stepper as described on memsfcr.co.uk?

The MAP value is affected by the general health of the engine,Steve..

Yes, bar the one going to the fuel trap & ECU. Trap and vacuum lines are new, so I figured I'd let that in place so the ECU has readings. Shall I block that one as well?

I have not setup the stepper as via that URL, just the procedure of pushing in the mechanism by hand and adjusting the throttle cable. Is the stepcount looking out of place / should I adjust anything?

As for the health of the engine, I did clean the pistons fully, checked piston ring clearance and a visual checkup on the bores. The head was also given a good clean, valves lapped and seals replaced. Compression was within close to factory spec (can't recall values, did that nearly 2 years ago), seems healthy to me at least.

I'm a bit puzzeled by that reply, have I said something wrong? I can't do what I don't know, hence my questions; I highly appreciate the help if that's the misunderstandig here.
