Spoilt for choice tonight as 'Robbery' is on at 9.05pm !

"A group of British criminals plan to rob a night postal train carrying millions in old banknotes - look out for the car chase that impressed Steve McQueen so much he hired director Peter Yates for 1968’s Bullitt!"

I've put this onto record, if I remember rightly this is the one with the MK2 Jag being chased by the S-Type, got to love a villian in a 60's Jag :-)

Totally agree, before the film came out hardly anybody knew who he was this side of the pond ( and probably the other) at least now he gets the recognition he deserves.

"E" reg was an exceptionally good year for rust.

The BMC accountants at the time, reasoned, that if they economised on paint their cars would rusted away more quickly, and the car owner would have to buy a new one.

The result was that rust prevention was made a feature of Japanese cars.

I always found that D reg maroon minis were the least rusty cars for some reason

I've got an E reg MK2 Jag and it was horrifically rusty, it was much worse than the 1959 one i've got despite only being on the road until 1977.  I wonder if there was a bad batch of steel that year?
