Can i make a mpi K&N fit an SPi mini as i have one kicking around not doing nothing ????

i no i have to put the air senctor in it any help on this

As long as you can make it fit you can put whatever the hell you want one.

I know with the cone filters the only difference is the hole pattern and size on the back.

Unless there are certain sensors etc, that the Spi needs that the MPi hasn't got, or vice versa.

Seriously Adam, you need to double check your advice before you put it on the site. What if macfoot had mutilated his air filter trying to get it to fit and then finds out it won't work, now he's got an air filter he can't sell or exchange and all because of the advice you gave. Please make sure you know what your talking about before you give advice.

you cant use just any filter anyways...

trust me... did it on my golf... and it just make a wopping great big noise and decreased performance...

No you cant use it.

Thats why there are two different ones. They are different sizes as well. Stick yours on Ebay.

i have an spi one from my old metty gti, it has a air temp sensor mounted at the front of it i believe!! well a sensor of some type that i assume is air temp for the ecu!! tho it does away with the air temp flapper vacuum valve!

would probably be easier to get a k+n replacement element and sell your tpi 1 on fleabay!!
