Ordered a pair of hi-lo with rubber cones and receive today, one of the hi-lo bolt is not vertically straight to the trumpet base, please see pictures. I think this hi-lo set is Minispares' own products not sourcing from other suppliers, I mean it's so disappointing they don't even check the quality before shipping out, actually that hi-lo has visible defect. I wonder how they drill the hole on the trumpet, I can drill better than this by bare hand.

No, it's the thread hole, not perpendicular to the trumpet base, the bolt is fine, smooth turning in and out.

Yes I did, and they reply immediately which is good, but I was told that they will send me the replacement on my next order which got me stuck now.

Not ideal.  Personally, i would be pushing them to send out a replacement at their cost.

They don't want to pay for the shipping to Hong Kong. Which I can understand, but that's their problem and not yours really.

It's the price any business pays when selling worldwide. Sometimes you have to take the loss when you make an error and learn from it. If you never have to take a loss then you never have to learn and fix the problems before they happen.

The parts had at least 3 or 4 chances to be quality checked. Manufacture, QC, good in, dispatch. It's gone wrong somewhere....

If you're going to make another order very soon then maybe you could accept it. I've done this in the past with them. if waiting it's not agreeable to you then, I would get back in touch with them and request they send replacements at their cost.

Every business makes mistakes, it's how they get resolved that makes one company different to another imo.

I've always found them to be reasonably good with sorting problems.

Postage should be minimal being in Hong Kong considering those trumpets were probably made in a cave somewhere on mainland China. Just ship direct to customer.
