"Ford has confirmed that Britain's most-registered car, the Fiesta, will be discontinued next year, with production of the volume-selling supermini ending in June 2023. It will lower the curtain on 47 years of continuous production that has seen 22 million units made in total for the worldwide market across nine generations."

I never particularly liked the Fiesta.  There were mk2 models everywhere when I got my licence and apart from the XR2 they were so boring.  I just had to get a Mini instead.  Still sad to see the end of them though.  I hated the Metro too back in the day but find it quite nostalgic to see one these days.  At least you can see out of the things properly unlike modern cars.

Didn't even know they still made the "fiesta" Long time since it had any affinity with the old fiesta
