Absolutely fabulous work of art going on again, surprising how quick you get these panels completed.
How long have you been working on minis Ben, something Iβve never asked .
Cheers
I had my first mini long before I was old enough to drive and had several in several years to follow
back in the day when people would see my mini and knock the door and ask if I wanted to buy theirs for Β£50 lol
I started restoring them as a job in 2015 and the first I did was for a TMF member
Apart from a few exceptions, I've been doing it constantly since
Cheers
Ben

Unfortunately my Mini25 has been stored outside for too long now so is getting to the point where its beyond saving which is very sad
I've Just got nowhere else to store it

Ben's work and photo updates are absolutely fantastic as always, it's always exciting to see updates even when he's done the work to your own, though mine is still in as we've extended it's stay

Yeah, I think I saw your beautiful blue beast when I was last on the Isle of Wight. It looks stunning in real life. Panel fit, paint etc were absolutely perfect.

Thank you appreciate that, it certainly is one that looks better in person than photo's as the like Ben mentioned in my thread the colour is difficult to truly pick up in photo's.

Last update of 2022
I finished the clean up in preparation for the new OS quarter panel
Then trial fitted the panel
Before trimming, prepping and welding it into place
Last thing to do here is to clean up the welds on the rear bulkhead to seat pan
And then weld the seat pan to the heelboard and weld in in the reinforcer along the front edge of the seat pan
Next time, I'll be attacking the floors and steps
Merry Xmas everyone
Cheers
Ben

Hi Ben,
Merry Christmas! May I ask what is the reinforcer along the front edge of the seat pan? I don't think I have seen that before. Is that something additional to the Heritage boot floor?
Thanks.
Victor.

Great perseverance on your project, I had to ask Ben the same thing, Ben refitted mine as I didnβt realise it had one originally, which it does
All the best
