Does anyone know where you can get the push button switches with the knurled aluminium knobs like in the David Brown Marshall edition and others they’ve done?
Or something similar?
I’m aware of savage switches but want particularly the raised twistable knurled aluminium knob ones.

I think you will find that they make them or get them made themselves, if ( big if) you have a lathe they would be pretty easy to make as long as you have a knurling tool.

I was thinking that they probably make them in house as well to be honest, I had hoped someone might know something different and had actually seen or know of them being available somewhere else.

Are they twist operation or push? They could be modified EAO ones.

The knobs on my Marshall are conical with black ribbed sides but then again mine isn't a 59 plexi unfortunately

OK I need some help, what is the proper name for these type of switches, when I Google car knobs all I'm getting is pictures of blokes with a baseball cap on backwards standing next to a Bini. If I can get a decent picture of the knobs/switches I might be able to sort something out.

They look like these style switches with a custom made knurled sleeve on them.

If you google Savage Switches you’ll find loads of different functions in black or natural aluminium but I have seen knurled bodies before.

These are £100k+ Minis though so 90% will be some level of custom.

OK yup I found an exploded view drawing, the ring is just that, I would have thought that any small engineering shop should be able to sort that out for you, a simple turning then knurling job, but at today's rates expect a bill of at least £100.00
