Tidy rear and good looking interior, but the steering wheel is in the wrong place.

that front end though.. really not sure about that just my personal opinion obviously

maybe just a normal grille (or at least mesh) would fix it?

That to me is horrible, surprised Aston Martin allowed their name put to it. If they are fully responsible for it something must have gone wrong in there thinking.

But then you look at their thinking on the Aston Martin City Car an adapted small Toyota I believe. At the time £45,000 I think for the addition of a few different badges and the Aston Martin name on a basically cheap car.

Lots of negativity towards the car.. odd for a mini enthusiast forum?

That front end looks more akin to a David Brown tractor design than anything relating to their cars. Nice interior though except the lumpy speakers on the rear shelf.

For an 80’s styled mini I think it’s really good. Wouldn’t be my 90k to be fair but what a cracking piece of mini heritage/history

I think I like the front more than the similar style from w&p though

I do like them both to be fair but I really like the 80’s angles and painted trim etc. I think the colour helps.
The grille just from a practical mindset would have to go.. anyone good with photoshop so we can see what it’s like with a standard item?

W+p going for the Mercedes grosser look there

I guess that's the days before led bulbs they felt they had to do something about the deadly lighting / lack thereof

I think I do prefer that though at least the grill is right

It would be good to see the Tickford Mini parked up in the 'Coachbuilt Mini Register' Display at Beaulieu, along with a rare example of the Mini B.A.C. M-30 from the 1980's...
