Not happy with it as I'm coming from Europe! Time/ ferry/ campsite's booked. Was also pleased that I can finally go to AC Dodd for tuning my Mini!
I'm still going to the UK, but have to found a campsite..hopefully someone is organising a last minute Mini meeting somewhere!
See the post on The Elan Valley Run page on Facebook. They try to arange something.

Hi,

It would be interesting to know as to what is happening with regards to AC Dodd's bookings for those days.

Have they been rescheduled, moved elsewhere and are there any vacant slots that he is going to want to be filled.

Paddy

Should have insured against such risks... 🤷‍♂️
Hopefully that was the first thing they did 🤞

I didn't think he was taking bookings. I thought it was on a first come first served basis.

Hopefully many of the advance ticket sales were paid using a Credit Card?
If so, under 'Section 75' refunds any payments of more than £100 and less than £30,000 on your credit card and your card company then has a LEGAL responsibility to come to the rescue and get your money back if there's a problem:-

I wonder if any of them will decide to carry on with the trip anyway, visit the Sussex countryside and just make a long weekend of it anyway..

if that's the case who lives near there, any suggestions for places to go, things to see.  maybe arrange a local meet that weekend with an open invite to anyone from abroad

gotta be more fun than hours on the phone to ticket companies and insurance

Have a decent drive up and around Beachy head from the Eastbourne end, (Go in from Polegate) some really good twisty bits then drive along the coast round to Birling Gap and back up to East Dean (stop off at the Tiger inn for a quick shandy)You can then go up and over Friston hill and follow the coast road through Exceat and then to Seaford and back up to Lewis.

Lots of little lanes everywhere to have a quick blast. This was my old stomping ground before moving to the Cotswolds.

Agree on the above, recently went on a motorbike tour of the south, stayed at the Pilot Inn, walked up to the Beachy Head (great views!) then next day headed west to Goodwood, keep going west and get the boat to the IoW for a blast, then onto New Forest.

Back on topic, managed to get a refund for two day tickets from HSBC, not a huge amount but they were more than happy to chase the IMM2025 org for monies owed.

FYI, I received a refund from my credit card company today.  The onus is now on IMM2025 to state that the refund is not valid.  If they do not hear from them, then the refund stays.

glad to see some people gettting refund on cards. Think this may well put an end to further imm's in the uk. as these are voted for by club presidents at the meetings who is going to support a uk bid (even if anyone wants to put one in) the 5 year agreement may come to the rescue here but then will european visitors come? many will lose travel costs even if they do get refunds through credit cards.

Hi All,

Just had this from an enquiry made to companies house.

Dear Customer,

Thank you for your enquiry,

IMM 2025 LTD
15011007

To date the above company has not informed Companies House that they are going into liquidation.

I would advise for you to keep a check on the company status.

If the status changes to liquidation/administration, their details will be provided within the filing history.

If the status changes to active proposal to strike off then you can make an objection by following the guidance below.

So have they liquidated or not? As of now, Gov.uk says not!

There is also a link to follow to log an objection. Do any of you think its worth doing?

They said that were "in the process of being put into creditors voluntary liquidation" and that the "proposed" liquidators were Begbies Traynor LLP. These things take time, it's not instant.
