Good evening all,

I’m starting to put my van back together and starting underneath. I’m having a mental block regarding where the brake line and fuel line run from front to back. Which side goes on which. Has anyone got a drawing of the route from fuel tank to the engine bay?

It’s a 1981 Van if that helps.

Thanks

Chris

brake line runs down the drivers side, fuel line down the passenger side (..assuming a RHD drive car!)

Fantastic

I think you may have solved the drumming noise I get especially on dual carriageways and motorways.

What's the part number for the blue thing on the left? Perhaps mine needs replacing :D  :D  :D

Thanks KTS. I was confused as I seem to have a lot more lugs underneath. How does the fuel line get to the tank does it go round the subframe or just straight across?

Loving the pickup by the way

cheers

Couldn't say how the fuel line would normally run; i put an electric pump on mine, so routed round the subframe for that

If my memory serves me correctly I believe the fuel lines go over the subframe meaning you have to run them before you install the subframe. The new pipes I bought were too short though, so I ran them under the frame which also meant I didn't need to take the subframe out.
