Hi All - My first post, so thank you for your patience.... :proud:

I'm in the process of replacing the rear subframe on my late year MPI. I've been looking at the fuel lines, particularly around the filter, and really don't fancy disconnecting anything here (spilling petrol, ancient connections etc). I have however, managed to detach the filter (and housing) from the subframe. Can anyone confirm if I can get away with not disconnecting any of the fuel lines and simply maneuvering the filter and housing around the subframe as I'm dropping it?

It looks just about do-able, but it will need a bit of a push, particularly with the flexi hose that runs round the back of the filter....

I don't want to get too deep AND THEN be trying to disconnect fuel lines.

Any experience that can be shared would be appreciated.

I'm sure you should just be able to drop the subframe out without disturbing the fuel lines. It will be worth replacing the filter unless its only a few years old
