Im going to need 4 sets of wheel arch studs for my mini and £120 for 20 studs is a bit steep for my restoration project. See attached.

Intrested in alternative ideas, work arounds or possible off the shelf items that are similar?

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Button head allen bolts in stainless. Either use Stainless nuts or rivnuts.

if any are out of reach behind the petrol tank, I'd stick a bit of locktite on if you rivnut them, to make sure it doesn't just spin

all the others would be easy enough to get at the back side

I wouldn't rely on either of those personally the problem is you're going into thin sheet steel so there won't be enough thickness for a thread to be of any real reliable use

Hence the originals go through a hole and are bolted on the other side, or the rivnuts which obviously get held in by the flange on the back side once squeezed in place

I glued some M8 threads (bolts with cutoff head) into the sportspack arches with 2K epoxy.

Very cheap and reliable in my opinion..
