Well I was able to get hold of this Yazaki beauty. Its the same ebay listing I linked earlier. Going to test it out later. A friend from the UK brought it over for me so I saved a tonne on postage costs too!

That Yazaki appears to be a similar age to the one I’ve just installed (same colour wiring). Mine works fine with electronic ignition

Would not bother with 2” too small to be anything other that a bit of bling.

Yes that’s right for a 4 cylinder

You’ll just need to get an illumination lamp if you want a backlight

to each his own my friend. mine is a road car and I dont have any rev counter right now.
