Hello (or should that be Ciao as currently in Italy!)

 

I just bought myself a 1980 Austin Mini 1275GT.  For anyone interested it was the black one being auctioned by Car & Classic last night after being restored by Tasty Classics.  And for once I was sober when bidding on an auction  .

 

I am looking forward to collecting when back in the UK in a week or so.  I can then start playing with my new project - lots of ideas on how to enhance and personalise but hopefully a great starting place with the work that has already been done.

 

My first car was a Mini 850 so this feels quite nostalgic some 40 years later.

 

Looking forward to some great advice and experience from the the members here at TMF

Welcome to the Forum. You will certainly get plenty of good advice and useful tips on here.

I would suggest that for the vast amount of £5 you become a TMF + member as it gets you a 71/2% discount on anything purchased from Minispare.
