Hello

I just started my second resto and I would like to buy some NOS parts. Brand "MOPROD" cam into my view. I already used the drum brake adjuster repair kit which is pretty good.

I'll need all the brake hoses to replace.

In overall is (was) Moprod a quality aftermarket supplier ? There are many Moprod parts on ebay but I don't know much about this brand.

MOWOG did the most parts on a mini..

MOPROD Predominantly dealt with accessories and replacement reproduction parts...

Mowog are like Heritage.

MOPROD are then like Magnum....

Good enough parts but occasionally need a bit of tweaking to make work..

For example I found this brake hose. They said that rubber in the new brake hoses does not last too long and it will cause MOT issues too..

maybe it's just me but I wouldn't want anything rubber that's been sitting on a shelf for some unknown (extensive) length of time in unknown conditions, it could degrade and get brittle

especially with brake related stuff surely just buy new and get a good brand, ideally braided as well,

I sort of get why people would want originality but there's only so far I'd be willing to take it

I would agree.. plenty people offering 2023 technology with advanced reliability and more a bolt on and leave...

Old school rubber just no longer lasts...the brake fluid is even different formula now..

Okay I accept your advices. One more reason for the new hoses is the single brake circuit.
