Hi,

Has anyone got a wiring schematic for SC 7 port? Mine arrived wrong and I need to confirm my connections. I have 3 wires going to the coil pack which has 4 pins. A photo of this and the TPS connector would be great.

I've searched all day but nothing found.

I nearly have the car finished and this would be very helpful.

Cheers,

Simon

OP, are you using the Mini coil pack (4 terminals) rather than the Ford pack (3 terminals) and the Magnetti Marelli tps?

They have pin outs for all their ecus on their website, helped me on diagnosis over the summer. All you need is an ecu pinout.

Thanks all. The coil pack and TPS were swapped on the original loom. I was ablecto confirm this on another 7 port near me.
I have 4 pin connections on the coil but 4 pin connector with 3 wires. I think I've fixed it now.
My triggerwheel is not triggering but it may be a software setup thing.
I was on it all weekend. I'll go back tomorrow

Would I be better with the 3 pin?

Not necessarily, but if you're using the Mini coil pack I can give you the wiring info.

On the Mini coil pack, pins 1&2 are the coil drivers and 3&4 are for the 12v feed.

I think it has been resolved, but that coil doesn't need 4 pins on the application.

1 - Coil bank 1

2 - Coil bank 2

3 - 12V switched ignition.

(those aren't the pin numbers, just what they're used for. I'll look later for the pin output).

Thanks all. I swapped the coil for a 3 pin type and swapped the trigger wheel and the car is running. I have to set up the timing I think. It's hard as I cant be 100% sure of TDC.
I'm going to bring it to the rolling road soon. Hopefully it'll run better as it is a bit snorty.
