Can anyone confirm whether it’s possible to fit 4.75” x 10 Minispares/Swiftune Rosepetal alloys without needing wheel arch extensions?
The hub setup is Minispares “S” 7.5” at the front and spacered drums at the rear, intended tyres are Yokohama 165 AO32s.

Assuming they are ET40 offset, they'll be fine

Yes, ET40 offset.

Any issues though with clearance to shock absorbers etc with 165 tyres? I’ve always run 165 tyres on 5x10 wheels with arch extensions, this is new territory for me!

I've got 165's on ultralite 4.5x10 S rims and they clear Gaz shocks, which are a bit fatter than standard shocks, by a good 10mm on the rear and more on the front

Rose petals sit 4mm further inboard, so there'd still be decent gap

I've got 165/70 10"s on mine with no arches.

Don’t the rose petals come with a spacer that is needed for use with discs?

My understanding is that spacers are only needed for certain disc types/sizes but are fine with a “standard” S setup.

I'm running Mini Spares Rose Petals with AP 7.5 caliper setup and yes, I use the hub centric spacers they provide, esp on the front as without the caliper touches the inside of the wheel, and forget about balancing on the inside of the wheel!!

I've not got arches, there is a slight lip (presumably where plastic arches would fix to) but I have run some black sill trim all the way along. The wheels do poke out a tiny bit, ie get a solid edge like a long spirit level and hold it on the wheel and you can see the gap. I've got adjustable bottom arms on the front and brackets on the rear, so running 1 degree negative on the front and .5 on the back, so they so lean in at the top slightly.

I've never had a problem at MoT, infact its old enough its exempt but I must get round to getting one for peace of mind...!
