I used hooked Lanny arms on my Midas, but the rest would make your eyes water. Fiesta wiper motor pushin' 'em via spherical joints, bits of old tent pole, skate board bearings, turned down coach bolts & compression fittings  :blink:

 

The useful bit I can offer is that it's easy to adjust the crank in the arms if you hold 'em in a well padded vice.

I fitted the heavy duty arms and then couldn't open the bonnet past them as they are deeper so had to revert to standard. Just 1 to watch for on the first time you open it!

I had the same problem, after contacting minispares and being told it is normal I basically threw them in the bin.

 

 

I do actually have them sitting around somewhere in the chance that a Leyland mini has slightly more space.
