Just a word of warning about a fraudulent description on Fleabay . About six to eight weeks ago I advertised and sold a good throttle body on Ebay . This is now being advertised as being from a MPI Cooper Sport 500 which it is NOT from !!! It is also being sold for £125 !!! I can prove that the one for sale is my old one so don't be fooled by this lying ******* ! Sellers name is BLUESKYMELLOW .

Correction to the post regarding the advertised price , it is £119.99 .
If the moderators on here want to delete this post due to breaking forum rules thats fine and I apologise for the post . I was just wanting people on here to be aware of this . What annoyed me was the description of it being ( A) Rare , and ( B) From a Cooper Sport 500 . There was no difference to the throttle body from an S works car to a standard Rover Cooper .
End of rant .

Anyone in the know who wants something can see through the bullsh*t usually.
Just take it for what it is and don't let it ruin your day. 👍
That said if I'd just sold an 'S' engine and box on standard sizes for £100 because I thought it was an 850 and then saw it on eBay for 6k I'd be pissed also 😁

to be fair £120 for a decent TB if it really is in good condition isn't silly money anyway is it ? well I got a Volvo one not long ago for similar money and was more than happy to pay it (apples and oranges, possibly but still)
at the end of the day it's it not worth it, it won't sell, that's just how it is, so he makes a few extra quid by lying, people do that on market stalls all the time . crying 'fraud' may just possibly be a slight overreaction, no offence meant

There’s a seller on ebay who lists almost everything with the word Cooper, buyer beware as always, especially with ebay.
Here’s a classic example https://www.ebay.co....emis&media=COPY

It's understandable though, a lot of people actually refer (wrongly) to a classic Mini as a "Mini Cooper" so if you're selling through a medium such as eBay which relies on searched words, including Cooper makes a lot of sense if you want to reach your target market.
