Just fitted some LED indicator bulbs, and having hte fast flash issue since I haven't upgraded the flasher relay yet.

 

Have ordered the adjustable led CF-14KT relay and hoping to install later this week.

 

My question is, whereabouts is the relay? I've been told it's behind the dash on my MPI.

 

Haven't taken the dash of yet, but before I do I jsut want to see it this job is doable by sticking my hand through the slot for the radio?

 

I've taken these couple of grabs from a youtibe video.. but it this the relay on the back of the bulkhead to the right of the yellow aand red relays? 

 

Any help greatly appreciated!

It's not a big job, taking the dash out on an MPi.

Unscrew the air vent rings, give the vents a turn and withdraw it.

10mm deep socket on a 1/4" extension under the dash, you can hold down the tabs,through the vent holes.

Pull the radio out and remove the 10mm nut holding the centre tab.

Lean down on the dash and withdraw the top of the dash.

Reach in and unplug the electrical connections and speedo cable.

10 minutes, tops.

Replacement: reversal of the above.
